OOM: Post-Lily

Harry had had to come straight outside after meeting his mother. He needs space to try and get his head around the implications of this, what it could mean, what could be avoided, what could be fixed. And the fact that this place looks a lot like Hogwarts is a strange comfort. It's the only place he's ever felt he had a home, after all.

But that could change, couldn't it? He just can't stop thinking about how this is his chance to have a mum. Oh, he knows there are probably reasons why it's a bad idea and there will be consequences but frankly, right now, he doesn't care.

She doesn't have to die. Neither of them do. It can all be made alright again, he's sure of it.
